Another month is drawing to an end, which was once again jam-packed with new boots and new kits for the world’s biggest teams. We are now ready to follow up on all the things August had to offer, so you can get the complete overview.

If we start off by looking at adidas’ month, where they were the brand to kick off the month first, with the introduction of a new stand-alone colourway release for the Ace15. Bold, blue and very well received by everyone, even if they probably won’t be used on the pitch by the pros. Later on in the month they followed-up with even more new boots, which were even bolder. The Eskolaite Pack definitely also grabbed headlines and we are still waiting to see if any players will give them a run-out on the pitch.

adidas were however not all about the boots and went all-in with the introduction of the new shirts for Manchester United. They also had new third-shirts for six of their biggest clubs all at once, which were unveiled at a grand event in Marseille. Real Madrid, Juventus, Manchester United, AC Milan, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are therefore now completely ready for the new season.

PUMA have had a fairly quiet month by their otherwise busy standards, with them only really rocking out three new releases. They were however also pretty big, with them bringing out a new evoPOWER colourway and the Arsenal 3. kit early in the month. Later on they also had something very special lined up, with a tribute to the legendary player Lothar Matthaus, in the shape of a Limited Edition PUMA King boot.

Umbro also had new boots for us to enjoy, with new colourways for their very popular Velocita and UX-2. Both shared the same orange look, which is a far more lively than the designs we have seen before. Top quality boots, with just as strong colourways to match now.

Letting all the others have all the fun was naturally never going to happen for Nike, who had something we haven’t seen before from them lined up. The Tech Craft Pack has hit the shelves and we are just as big fans, as you all are as well. Fitting high quality leather on the boots we know and love is a stroke of genius and the craftsmanship displayed is nothing short of brilliant.

The Tech Craft Pack is however not the Nike launch I’m most excited about this last month. Just as August was drawing to an end Nike brought out the Tiempo Legend V R10, which is a tribute to the legendary Brazilian Ronaldinho. They are a remake of one of his most popular signature colourways and the cream coloured upper is simply stunning.

This is what August had to offer and although there weren’t as many launches as previous months, the quality was of the highest order. Every brand brought out something new and we can’t wait to see what September brings. What has been your favourite launch from the month that past?
