In connection with the launch of Nike's FC247-collection, we got the chance to sit down with Nike Football's Senior Product Manager, Collin Eder, who is one of the masterminds behind the new FC247 footwear. Here we had a chat about every single shoe - so watch along and get a deeper insight into the football concept of “Anytime. Anywhere”.

When Nike invited us to Berlin to experience the FC247-collection with the Boateng brothers, we also got a chance to interview Collin Eder from Nike. He is Senior Product manager and has therefore been greatly involved with the development of Nike's new FC247-footwear.

We were eager to hear more about the FC247-collection, which was made up of the Nike Elastico Finale II for indoor courts, Nike Lunargato II for street courts and the Nike Bomba Finale II for turf.

Here Colin talks about the reasoning behind the collection, which is to promote football outside of the 11-a-side game. This is based on exclusive inside knowledge from their vast array of professional players, who all shared a love for the football played outside of training and games, which was an essential part of their development.

A lot of effort and emphasis was put into coming with exciting, new material innovations – one of them being the ultra thin microfibre upper, NikeSKIN. What that is and if we will see more of it in the future, Colin discusses in the video above.
