The Puma evoSPEED is a lightweight boot that can be quite hard to catch, but Puma have managed to do so and are now spoiling us with a new and fresh colourway, thus enabling you to get your speed on in red, white and silver. Come along and check out how the wildcat looks in its new colourway right here.

Only very few cats get to get dressed up in red, white and silver, but we are not gonna hide that the Puma evoSPEED is one of our favourite animals; and when it gets launched in a fresh red and white colourway we are not going to complain. The lightning quick red and white Puma evoSPEED 1.2 is definitely more than welcome in our boot zoo.

The Puma evoSPEED 1.2 has already been spotted on the feet of stars like Olivier Giroud, Radamel Falcao, Gael Clichy and Sergio Agüero; and especially for Giroud and Falcao, the red and white colours will surely match their club kits from Arsenal and Monaco, respectively.

The red and white colours on the speedy lightweighter are somewhat subdued and at the same time elegant and fresh, and present a nice option if you feel that the black/neon launch colour was a little too dark for your taste.

Leaving the colours for a moment this boot is still the same top quality boot for your feet with this Puma evoSPEED 1.2 Red/White colourway. The boot includes a number of Puma's latest and most advanced technologies, that serve to give you the speed to (almost) follow the fastest animals out there.

The new evoSPEED 1.2 is developed to help you reach your top speed fast – without compromising on stability or comfort. This is facilitated through a super thin upper made from a single layer of synthetic together with the internal Everfit Cage technology for stability and increased support for your midfoot.

On the upper, the boot is equipped with a number of little sticky bumps, that serve to increase your ball grip, especially in connection with wet conditions; hereby ensuring that you will have a nice touch on the ball even if the weather is going against you.

Moving on to the outsole and the stud system, we will see that it has been designed with a focus on maximal pitch grip, as well as an optimised manoeuvrability. Therefore, the studs have been made smaller compared to the previous evoSPEED. On the heel, the evoSPEED 1.2 has been equipped with an external heel counter, which serve to keep your foot stable and protect from knocks and kicks.

The Puma evoSPEED 1.2 has a very strong focus on speed, but on top of that they have also put a lot of thought into developing the correct elements that will secure both fit, flex and low weight. Weighing in at just 188 grams this is without a doubt a boot that fits into the lightweight category.

One of the key successes of the Puma evoSPEED has been the option of a nice leather version, which provides an optimal touch on the ball and ensures a nice and personal fit. And, once again, Puma are not letting us down, as their will also be a leather version available for this white and red version of the Puma evoSPEED 1.2.

Here the upper has been made of the extremely nice and supple calf leather, which quickly adapts to your foot and provides the sought after personal and comfortable fit, as well as natural touch on the ball. A rather unique thing that leather is known to deliver.
