Even though the big tournaments and leagues are currently lying dormant, the preparations for the new season are in full swing. Teams are looking forward to the new season, which already now looks to be an equally interesting one to last year. Loads of warm up games are underway and this naturally brings us plenty of new and cool boots spots from around the world.

If you are like us, completely addicted to football, then the summer can feel quite long. The biggest leagues are all laying low, charging up for a new season and this makes it tricky to get our daily football fix. Don't fret, there are still plenty of spots however, so lean back and enjoy all the coolest boots from around Europe and the world.

Nicklas Helenius (Aston Villa) – Nike Mercurial Vapor IX Fireberry/Electric Green-Red Plum We start off this round of boot spots with a trip to Germany, where Aston Villa and the Danish striker Nicklas Helenius are in full swing. He looks to have been brought in as a direct replacement for superstar Christian Benteke and so far is doing a sterling job, with 3 goals in 3 pre-season games. He has for the occasion changed from his old Adidas F50 Adizero to the slightly old colourway of the Nike Mercurial Vapor IX, which is the Fireberry/Electric Green-Red Plum and we have to say it looks great with the new Villa kit.

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain (Arsenal) – Nike CTR360 Maestri III Current Blue/Black-Volt & Nike Hypervenom Phantom Black/Bright Citrus There where goals aplenty when Arsenal, while on their tour of Asia, played against an Indonesian all-star team and smashed them 7-0. One of the most interesting players to follow there was Alex 'The Ox', who was a constant threat. Particularly intriguing was his boots, as he played the first half in the new Nike Hypervenom. He could however not completely let go of his old CTR360 Maestri III boots and changed to them at half time. It will be exciting to see what he troops up with, once the season begins.

Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United) – Nike T90 Laser IV Mango What Rio will be wearing next season, will definitely be interesting to find out! The powerful Manchester United defender has been forever loyal to the T90 boots and during his stay at Manchester Uniteds training camp in Thailand, he was still playing in the popular Nike-silo. The question is, now the that the T90 goes out of production, where does that leave Rio? You can think about that, while you watch the awesome Nike T90 Laser IV in action – possibly for the last time.

Phil Jones (Manchester United) – Adidas Nitrocharge 1.0 Blue Beauty/Running White/Electricity Another player who looks to be in doubt as to what boot to wear, is United enforcer Phil Jones. In Manchester United's game against Singha All Stars XI he wore the new Adidas Nitrocharge and previously we have seen him training in the Nike Tiempo Legend IV. This would point to that he is no longer on contract with Puma and looking for a new boot. What do you think he will end up with next season?

Marouane Fellaini (Everton) – Warrior Gambler Pro Blackout Yet another hard working profile is Evertons Marouane Fellaini, who is one of the summers hottest transfer targets. He has been rumoured away from Everton several times, with Manchester United and Arsenal the most likely candidates. If he was to move, the fans could look forward to seeing him in action, wearing the new Warrior Gambler Pro. An interesting boot choice, which we also love as a blackout.

Phil Neville (Manchester United) – Nike Premier Black/White Just as elegant as Fellaini's boot is United's new assistant manager, Phil Neville's choice of boot. Him and his new Nike Premier will try and help new manager David Moyes carry on the legacy, left behind by Alex Ferguson. A daunting task that calls for the right equipment and the awesome new leather boot from Nike fits the bill. How David Moyes and Neville will do next season will be exciting to follow indeed.

Brendan Rodgers (Liverpool) – Adidas Copa Mundial It will be exciting to follow, whether or not Brendan Rodgers can lead Liverpool to triumph in the coming season, as always the expectations are sky high. If they can replicate their end of season form there is no reason why not. Therefore Liverpool are working hard in training and here we spotted Brendan Rodgers in the iconic and very classic Adidas Copa Mundial.

Jonny Evans & Rafael (Manchester United) – Nike Elastico Finale II & Nike Lunargato II We finish off this round of boot spots in Thailand, where Manchester United are in training camp. Even though 'The Red Devils' are busy preparing for the coming season, where they will attempt to retain the Premier League trophy, they still had time to attend a Nike FC247-event. They showed off the cool new Nike-shoes, which are made for indoor and street football.

We look forward to even more football, when more and more teams start kicking off the preparations for next season. Also with all the new boot models being released lately, there will be plenty to keep a look out for. What did you think of this weeks boot spots? Is there something you have spotted that we have not? As always we would love to hear your comments here, as well as on Facebook and Twitter.
