Joltter challenges Swedish international at Freestyle football

Joltter has been for a trip to Sweden, where he had a chat with Malmö FF player, Pontus Jansson. They had a friendly chat about the Swedish national player and his love of the Puma Evospeed 1.2, as well as why this was the boot for him. How our visit to Malmö and Joltter's freestyle face-off went, you can watch it here.

You can spend a lot of time reading about boots – and we mean a lot, when we say it! But part of the science behind football boots is, how they act on the pitch and how they perform in pressed situations. Therefore Joltter recently took a trip to Sweden, to talk with a Swedish national player, Pontus Jansson, who really knows what it's like in pressured situations.

The young defender has, despite his just 22 years of age, already played 4 games for Sweden and on a day to day basis he runs the centre of defence at Malmö, with an iron fist and his solid 194 centimetres. You would think a big boy like that wouldn't be the type of player, who picks a lightweight boot, but none the less Pontus prefers the new Puma Evospeed 1.2. This is also something Jansson discusses with Joltter.

If you want to know exactly why it is that Pontus Jansson prefers the Evospeed, then watch the interview above. We can however already reveal that one of the things Pontus likes, is that there is plenty of room in the boot, while still keeping its light weight.

Puma Evospeed 1.2 comes in two variations, with the Germans making both one with a sharp Teijin-microfibre and the other with a soft and supple calf-leather. Pontus' choice is slightly surprising, see what he picks and why here.

And when you happen to be at Malmö FF's impressive homeground, then you might as well take the opportunity to show what you can do with the ball. This is why Joltter challenged the tall defensive block, to show just what he and his fairly massive feet, could do with the ball.

Pontus Jansson is one of Swedens most exciting defenders and the tall Malmö-rock keeps on impressing with his Evospeed 1.2. What do you think about the video? And are you dreaming of going pro like Pontus? As always feel free to tell us in the box down below, or on Facebook and Twitter.
