Because control is the keyword; on average a player has between 60 and 80 touches on the ball during a game, which isn't even 1 touch every minute. This is why every touch has to be absolutely spot on and this is where the upper design, with the five Lethal Zones come into play.

The upper is an upgraded version of the Hybridtouch material, which we where introdced to on the first generation of Lethal Zones. This ensures a leather-like comfort, but still gives it the advantages of synthetic microfibre; which include low weight and a sharp and precise touch.

The desire for control really shows, when looking at the five Lethal Zones, which cover the entire upper of the boot and help to keep you in control of the ball, no matter what situation you are in. The zones have been given a different and larger design, when compred to the first LZ-model. This means the zones move more naturally in acordance to your foots shape, so you enjoy the benefits of the technologies, regardless of how your foot is positioned.

But what is the point of sublime ball control, if you don't have a stud-configuration that ensures you get powerful pitch grip and can't change direction when you want it? Not much really – and therefore Adidas have kept their Sprintframe 2.0 outsole on the Predator LZ II. The sole is ultra thin and makes for an incredibly low weight. At the same time the studs are triangular and angled in sets, so each set serves a different purpose. This improves your acceleration, sideway running and breaking.

Adidas Predator LZ II is a boot filled with kontrasts. It is a boot that is developed to be controlling and fill your veins with ice, like a panther stalking its prey. With the black colour it is elegant and stylish, while the sharp reflective Adidas stripes are bold and incredibly eye-catching.
