Not long ago Nike revealed the new Nike Ordem football, which is the successor to the Nike Incyte football, and which will be used in long range of friendlies towards the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
One of the absolutely very best footballs in the world is back. And now even better. Nike have spent years in the lab in order to develop a ball that is better than ever before, and now the result is here. We gladly welcome the new Nike Ordem football.
According to Nike it is the most innovative, technologically advanced and aerodynamic football that has ever been created. This ball is created to deliver a perfect flight, something Nike shows with a little humorous video in connection with the launch of the new Nike Ordem football.
In the video you will see golfer Rory McIlroy, who is rather surprised when he realises that who his opponent is. It is Manchester United player Wayne Rooney, who has decided to go for a round of golf, only he is not going for the little white golf ball. Instead he is equipped with the new Nike Ordem football, and we are ready for a duel between Rooney and McIlroy.
Even if the Nike Ordem is one of the best footballs ever made, you may still need a bit of help to hit spot on. Wayne Rooney quickly realises this, and to his luck Ronaldo comes to the rescue with a nice header.
The video is titled Straight down the middle, which quite well illustrates how this ball is meant to travel. The Nike Ordem is developed to travel in the most direct and straight line, so you will always have a ball that acts just as it is supposed to.
It takes the absolute top technology to create a ball that is better than ever before. Therefore Nike have needed to get a hold of the best engineers and seek advice from the top experts in order to find out how to carry on the legacy from the Nike Maxim and the Nike Incyte.
The panels on the new Nike Ordem have been melted together to have them fit perfectly together, and Nike have hereby also been able to avoid stitching on the ball. In addition, Nike have added a technology called AEROWTRAC, which are grooves that increase the aerodynamic of the ball.
The new Nike AEROTRAC technology is, according to Nike, among the latest and most innovative in the world of football right now, and is developed to lead the air around the ball in the air, to give the cleanest and perfect flight. The result should be a stability and precision like no other.
On the surface you will the Nike RaDar technology, as we know from the Nike Incyte football. It is a graphic pattern that is developed to make it easier to see the and quicker to react. Radar is short for Rapid Decision and Response, which explains what the technology provides for the footballer quite well.
The Nike Ordem ball is initially launched in a Brazil inspired design, where you will also find the Brazilian football association logo on the ball. The reasoning is naturally that Brazil are hosting the World Cup in the summer, and the Nike sponsored teams will use this ball from the beginning of 2014 and all the way towards the World Cup.
The new Nike Ordem football is, according to Nike, the worlds most advanced ball, and shall surely be exciting to watch the ball in action. What do you think of the ball? And are you also looking forward to seeing it in action? Feel free to share your thoughts here, or on Facebook and Twitter.
