This is without a doubt the coolest design this year. Maybe even the last five years. There I said it! Right, now that I got that out of my system it’s time to get to what this is really all about. We had the pleasure of interviewing Max Blau and get to know a little bit more about the new Hypervenom Transform.
The Hypervenom has been a huge success, right from the get-go. The very first time this football boot ever touched grass was at the Maracaná, where the Hypervenom also scored its first goal (A pretty insane one at that from Wayne Rooney). This has on several occasions proven to be far from a one off, with the three latest goals being scored at the Allianz Arena from Lewandowski and Neymar.
This Hypervenom Transform, which comes as a Limited Edition, is a true visual ambassador for the deadly silo and represents everything the collection stands for: Mystery, audacity and bravery. In the interview above with Max Blau, Nike VP Football Footwear, we hear how the design was made and what the Hypervenom means to him personally and to Nike. Watch the video above.
Max Blau’s favourite Hypervenom memory goes to the time Neymar stepped onto the pitch at the World Cup in his Sonho Dourado (Golden Dream) boots. There are plenty of big moments to choose from – which is the biggest you have had in your own pair of Hypervenom?
