      Unisport is looking for a lead front-end developer

      Unisport is the leading online football retailer in the Nordics and a global media destination for football related content. We believe in connecting and engaging with football obsessed teens, and provide a seamless online and offline shopping experience. Premium on all touch points.

      We have been in love with the game since 1995. That's when Unisport was founded in a small Copenhagen apartment. In 2002 we launched our first web shop, serving football players and supporters with the best football gear, all over Denmark. Since then we have successfully launched local web shops in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Holland, and serve football fans all over the globe on our international site. And this is just the beginning.

      You will become a part of a young and dynamic company with more than 100 employees, where you will have the opportunity to make a difference.

      We are looking for a competent front-end developer, who can help develop the experience that the users get from Unisport. You will be a part of the decision-making in relation to the technological direction, and work with the latest within HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, among others.

      The position As a front-end developer you will become a key person in the Unisport A/S development team. You will be involved in the development of our websites both for Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, and dot com, with more coming in the near future. Among other things, your work will include front-end architecture, internationalisation, improve UX on the site, and implementing various new features. You will be working closely together with our back-end developers, our graphics team, as well as our CTO and project manager. As we expand into new markets, we need to keep delivering high growth rates, and our website is naturally a cornerstone in terms of succeeding in this.

      Qualifications We expect you to be technologically skilled and have hands on experience with our technology stack.
      • Extensive experience with structured and modular JavaScript.
      • Extensive experience with require.js
      • Experience with responsive design.
      • Know about version control systems, including git
      • CSS preprocessors such as LESS/SASS

      It is an advantage if you have experience with the following:

      • UX and usability
      • SMACSS
