The Nike Premier is in many ways one of Nike’s most iconic football boots. It was not only the foundation for Nike’s breakthrough into the world of football, it was also the model that later became the separate Tiempo silo, which definitely needs no further introduction. After two years without anything new from the Premier, Nike now present a series of new colourway updates, which are tributes to previous Tiempo designs.

It’s not a football boot that gets much love from the professionals these days. And let’s just be perfectly honest: it’s not the most sexy football boot for the younger generation. But!! For the slightly more seasoned football players who still remember 1994, where Romario thundered in goals for fun, the Nike Premier is still red hot.

Are you among the feinschmekers, who still enjoys the classic qualities of leather boots? Then stay posted until monday, where they will be available right here.

And the silo doesn’t get any less hot, after Nike today unveiled four new colourways for the Nike Premier, which are inspired by previous Tiempo models. Ohh my god, the memories of my Air Tiempo Legend in white and red are coming back now and that was actually the colourway that replaced the Premier back in 2005.

There probably won’t be as much hype for a Nike Premier, as there would for a Mercurial Superfly CR7, but the Premier still deserves its spot among the best boots in 2015. And for anyone who still prefers the soft leather touch and exquisite comfort, then you’re in luck.

The launch comes a little out of the blue really, but by all means Nike bring on more of this! Four colourways, which will arrive in limited numbers. Which of the models do you like the best?
