Puma are showing no signs of slowing down as we have entered the new year of 2013, and today we can reveal a new colourway of the Puma evoSPEED 1 Yellow/Blue/Scarlet, which will be exclusive for the goal machine Radamel Falcao from Atletico Madrid. A colourful model that really displays the South American joy for football. A perfect way to start off 2013 – Can Falcao follow up on this and his phenomenal form.

Puma had a fantastic 2012, and now, as the calendar shows 2013, they have already proven that they are not intending to slow down in any way. Just earlier today we could reveal a new evoSPEED colourway for Mario Gomez and now we have yet another one; a new colourway for another player who most certainly knows how to find the back of the net, Radamel Falcao.

You can, already now, pre-order your pair of the Puma evoSPEED 1 Graphic Yellow/Blue/Scarlet right here with expected delivery in the middle of January 2013 – just €174.

If the less 'loud' White/Silver colourway is to symbolise Mario Gomez and his ice-cold goal instinct, then this new colourway Puma evoSPEED 1 Yellow/Blue/Scarlet Graphic for Falcao symbolises his fantastic joy for the game and impressive creativity on the pitch. The Colombian is currently one of the hottest names on the transfer market and it seems that his time in Spanish Atletico Madrid will soon be over. Therefore, we only find it appropriate that the Puma have designed a colourway exclusively for him.

If Puma's evoSPEED collection continue its positive development as it has shown in the previous year, it surely has some fantastic months ahead. Supported by, among others, Sergio Agüero, Olivier Giroud and, of course, Gomez and Falcao, it is safe to say that the German brand can boast of a rather explosive line-up.

Puma evoSPEED 1 Graphic Yellow/Blue/Scarlet is, like the previous colourways, built with special focus on three areas; Light, Fit, Flex. This should ensure an optimal balance between high comfort, with an advantageous low weight and great flexibility, which follow the natural movements of the foot. We can certainly reveal that Puma have managed to do this very well.

In order to obtain the perfect stability, Puma have used an outsole made from PEBAX material. This is incredibly light, and yet still incredibly flexible. Hereof the name Duoflex, and it delivers to the fullest. The boot manages to follow the natural movements of the foot, thus enabling you to do flawless accelerations.

Regarding the weight, Puma again hit the nail right on the head. The evoSPEED 1 weighs in at just 190g and provides you with an incredibly light feel when wearing the boots. You get the feeling that your feet become lighter, which gives you that extra advantage against your opponent. They have managed to obtain this without compromising their high comfort standards and you even get a super comfortable fit for a boot made from synthetic.

Puma evoSPEED 1 Graphic Yellow/Blue/Scarlet only comes in a synthetic model, which is also the model preferred by Radamel falcao. The upper is made from Japanese microfibre, which provide an incredibly close touch on the ball, which enables you to make little sharp twists and turns. On the inside Puma have installed their new EverFit-Cage, which serves as a skeleton for boots and keeps your foot locked and stable when you play.

Puma have designed a stud configuration that combines classic conical studs for stability and comfort with tear drop shaped studs that provide extra pitch grip for your acceleration. In addition, the last on the Puma evoSPEED 1 is slightly wider than other lightweight models on the market, thus making it a great alternative if you have slightly wide feet and is looking for a light speed boot.
