This Monday Nike unveiled their newest Tech Craft Pack, which I wasn’t slow to laud as the single greatest colourway combination from Nike in the last year. Now, after we have gone through the boots individually, my conviction hasn’t wavered in the slightest and I’m still head over heels in love.
Looking back at all the Hypervenom Phantom II colourways we have seen from Nike, since the boots since they were launched last summer, they have all been incredibly vivid and flashy in their visual expression. That changes now as Nike go full monochromatic with their latest design.
From a technological perspective the Tech Craft Pack football boots are another great example of just how talented Nike are at mixing innovation and the core values of a boot together. The Kangaroo leather is fused with the inner layers of the Flyknit material we know from the regular Hypervenom. Together with the integrated Flywire, this means the firm lockdown you usually get in the boots isn’t lost, even though Nike are using a far softer and more supple upper.
