Black will never be unfashionable. That’s probably why all the brands are continuously presenting updates of their boots, with newly reinterpreted blackout designs. This is however a first for the adidas ACE 16+ PureControl and adidas ACE 16.1 Primeknit. I won’t hold back on how fond of this design I am - it’s almost tear inducingly beautiful.
The ACE silo is adidas’ boot for the controlling player that runs the show and through sublime technique controls the flow of the game. Players like Paul Pogba, Ivan Rakitic and Özil are ambassadors for the ACE, so the boot is certainly endorsed by the game’s very finest.
If you haven’t gotten familiar with the PureControl yet, then I can only imagine it’s because you have been waiting for this colourway to drop. And with that in mind, I guess there’s only one thing left to say: What are you still doing here?
