The summer is upon us and thankfully the weather warmed up throughout July! Let’s hope that continues in August, because now PUMA present two new colourways for the evoSPEED SL Fresh.
A couple of months ago PUMA presented a special edition of their evoSPEED under the name “Fresh”. Back then the heat hadn’t quite made its way to Unisport HQ and for us Northern Europeans, the concept behind the boot wasn’t really very relevant. This last month however, I have found myself wishing I had a pair of PUMA evoSPEED SL Fresh quite a few times. And I don’t know if PUMA have me wiretapped or something, but today the Germans present not just one, but two new evoSPEED Fresh.
Should you have forgotten, what the Fresh-concept is all about, then these football boots are constructed from a very special mesh, which has a superior airflow throughout the boot. The boots also transport moisture out of the boot, while still naturally making sure no water seeps in, should you encounter some summer drizzle. All of this makes them great for your feet if you find yourself feeling discomfort, when playing in the sun.
When it comes to the new colourways, then I’m definitely a bigger fan of the yellow and orange combination. I am generally a fan of the flashier boots and although this isn’t completely off the chain, then it’s crazy enough for me. Too bad my feet are way too wide to fit in a pair of evoSPEED. Feels bad man.
