Unisport Boot Spots | Nike Floodlights Pack takes over the pitches

We have the hottest boot spots coming in on this dark and gloomy Monday. See what the pro players wore this weekend that caught our eye.

Paulo Dybala (Juventus) - Nike Mercurial Superfly 5 Spark Brilliance & Floodlights Pack

Not quite broken in or maybe he is just contemplating the colourway. Paulo Dybala is rekindling his form after Juventus made a slow start to the season. He wore the new Floodlights Pack colourway in the first half, but to spare his feet, he switched to his well worn Spark Brilliance boots at half time.

Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid) - PUMA evoSPEED SL II

I actually didn’t know whether it would get on-pitch support, but PUMA have sent their probably biggest star in the newest evoSPEED colourway. I don’t blame him for liking them either, because the combination is well classy.

Santi Carzorla (Arsenal) - PUMA evoTOUCH 1.3 and Mystery blackout

A few pictures emerged from Arsenal training and showed Santi Carzorla testing a new boot for PUMA. They are without doubt a first look at the next generation of evoTOUCH. The current evoTOUCH is still very new, so these are probably just a first prototype, but he certainly looks like he is enjoying himself in them. It still looks like it is a very soft construction with a leather upper, but the material and look of the heel has changed a lot. Don’t expect these to drop for a long time, but still cool to see them in action. He was back in the regular version on match day.

Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid) - adidas X 16.1 Leather blackout

We wrote about Sergio Ramos’ blackout escapades a few weeks back, when he first started wearing them, and gave our opinion on why he was training in them. You really ought to read it here. He continues to play in the adidas X boots, despite still being signed by Nike. It’s probably not something the Swoosh are too happy about, but it makes for one of the most interesting contract sagas of 2016.

Emre Mor (Borussia Dortmund) - Nike Mercurial Vapor X Liquid Chrome

One of Europe’s biggest talents. Unisport being Danish, we have heard a lot about him already and him already playing a part for Dortmund is no surprise. Before this weekend he was still using his Nike Mercurial Vapor X from the Liquid Chrome pack, but has now been given a real contract by Nike by the look of things.

Christian Eriksen (Tottenham) - Nike Magista Opus 2 Floodlights Pack

From one brilliant midfielder with his football upbringing in Denmark to another. Christian Eriksen was quick to wear the Floodlights Pack colourway of the Magista, which I have to say is my favourite from the new collection. Looks absolutely epic in the blue-greenish tone!

Paul Pogba (Manchester United) - adidas ACE 16+ PureControl

Wait, you thought we were having boot spots without Paul Pogba? He has been featuring for six weeks running and is back again, as we had to include his move to the adidas Stellar Pack. He is the biggest star, even if he isn’t showing it at the moment. These boots might be the ones to change that!
