Unisport boot spot | What the pros wore this week

We are moving into the final few weeks of 2016 and the busy Christmas football schedule. We take a look at the best boots on display last week. Read along here.

Bradley Lowery (Sunderland) - adidas X 16.3 Red Limit Kids

Probably the most important boot spot of the year and it goes to young Bradley Lowery, who is battling a rare form of cancer. He was invited onto the pitch for Sunderland and scored the first goal of the game against Chelsea wearing a pair of adidas X Red Limit boots. Young bradley also had a wish to have as many Christmas cards as possible sent to him this year, so if you only send one card this year, make it to him.

Antoine Griezmann, Marco Reus & Hector Bellerin (Altetico Madrid, Dortmund & Arsenal) - PUMA evoSPEED SL 17

Friday last week saw the introduction of a new generation of PUMA evoSPEED, which was already brought into action this weekend. The stars gave a first look at the new generation of speed.

Arturo Vidal (Bayern Munich) - Nike Magista Obra 2 Dark Lightning

A slightly surprising switch of boot for Arturo Vidal, who usually dons the midfield in the Mercurial. He has felt a change of heart and now moved into the Magista. This is easily my favourite colourway from the most recent Nike Pack and it would appear Vidal agrees.

Michael Arroyo (Club America) - Nike Hypervenom Phinish II NJR x Jordan

With Neymar himself moving away from the Hypervenom silo all together, his work with the Jordan collaboration is over for now. Maybe the Club America player, Michael Arroyo, moved into the boots, so he could start convincing Nike that an Arroyo X Jordan collab was a good idea. Don’t get your hopes up mate.

Perth Glory - Nike Magisa Obra, Nike Mercurial Superfly V & Nike Mercurial Vapor IX

The A-league is building up a reputation among bootspotters as the place to go for the best kit/boot-combos. Some of the Perth Glory players went quite a few years back in their boot collection to match their kit with their boots. They all look so good together, but which is your favourite?
