Earlier this month adidas introduced the Chequered Black Pack and Pogboom colourways of the ACE 17+ PureControl. Pogba has worn the Pogboom boots once already, but apart from that neither of those boots will receive any on-pitch pro player support. You can however expect to see this new adidas ACE 17+ PureControl Blue Blast absolutely everywhere, as this will be the boot to lead the charge for Die Drei Streifen moving into the next months of the year.
The adidas ACE 17+ PureControl football boots are by nature already a pair of boots that people take notice of. The laceless Primeknit upper brings your foot closer to the ball for increased touch on the ball, while the front foot has also been coated with NSG (Non-Stop Grip) for, well erhh, non-stop grip basically.
Flip ‘em on their head and the springy and responsive Sprintframe has been made with a see-through, so it reveals the BOOST inlay sole. The BOOST technology can only described as industry-leading and ramps up the ACE 17+ PureControl boots comfort-levels significantly. A snug platform to control and run the game from.
This new Blue Blast ACE colourway will be launched on its own, but without revealing too much we can already now say that it will also be joined by a full silo overhaul on all the boots, at a yet unconfirmed date. Joining the PureControl Blue Blast boots today however, are the TANGO turf PureControl and trainer version. The Tango concept sees adidas taking over all surfaces with the same high-level engineering, whether it be indoor, turf or grass pitches.
