Under Armour return to launching ways as they unveil a sleek and simple colourway to go with the Clutchfit 3.0. All white upper with black accents makes for an elegant look - perfect for a winter wonderland!
The Under Armour Clutchfit 3.0 is labelled as an all out control boot and it's easy to see why, as the American sports brand have gone to extreme lengths to maximise comfort and control. The same goes for the roster of players wearing the Clutchfit collection on a weekly basis, where a notable mention goes out to Arsenal's Granit Xhaka. Altough he's struggling to find his feet in the Premier League, there is little doubt he will evolve to become a top notch controlling midfielder in the coming years.
Tech-wise, the Under Armour Clutchfit 3.0 is fitted with a second-skin upper that wraps around your foot for a snug fit and in combination with the symmetrical lacing allows for free and unrestricted movement of the foot. The outside layer of the upper has a ruffled coating to increase grip on the ball and the inside layer has a cushioned feel to it to provide you with a dampening touch on the ball when receiving and controlling the ball.
So far so good as for control element on the boot; you have the enhanced grip from the upper's textured coating and the cushioning from the inside layer. Comfort was, as mentioned, a big element in the development of the Clutchfit 3.0 and this really comes to light as we turn our attention to the insole. The boot is fitted with a so called 4D Foam footbed that moulds to your foot for a customised and ever so comfortable fit. It's common to neglect the importance of the insole, but UA have surely delivered on this and we're certain it won't dissapoint you!
When you wrap all of the above in a classic colourway you're not far off from a certain fan favourite. All white upper with a black, diamond-studded UA logo on the heal and some baby blue studs; I for one really like the combination, but I'm all for classics and clean designs.
