Real Madrid and adidas have revealed the club's new kits for the 2017/18 season, inspired by the club's loyal fans - the Madridistas - and to celebrate the powerful link between club and the city of Madrid. The chase for new trophies is on.

With the third UEFA Champions League trophy in four years and now, finally, also the long-awaited La Liga title in front of the rivals from FC Barcelona, it's safe to say things are looking pretty good for Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos and the rest of the team are for sure going into the 2017/18 season with a lot of confidence. And now adidas has presented Los Blancos' new home and away kits in which the team will chase new record breaking titles.

Both shirts have a modern touch and are built with the latest adidas performance technology. The use of Climacool technology ensures players to stay cool and perform at their best even in the toughest conditions. The kits are made of a new fabric that is softer and more comfortable for players on the pitch and fans.

The new Real Madrid home shirt is designed to bring the players and fans of Real Madrid closer together with a shirt just as suited for the streets Madrid as it is the Santiago Bernabeu. The introduction of sky blue stripes and branding is inspired by the Madrid sky to represent the connection betweeen club and city, and it provides a stunning look as well.

The classic white of Real Madrid is more prominent than ever before thanks to a new bold diagonal stripe design that cuts off at the shoulders. A memorial stamp at the bottom of the kit commemorates the club's 115 year anniversary.

Clean is the keyword when it comes to the new Real Madrid away shirt. It continues the theme of the home kit with a new trim colour - this time with turquoise green stripes. The Real Madrid logo is re-imagnied in turqouise green with a neon effect to stand out against the black shirt.

The away kit draws inspiration from previous black Madrid shirts worn by the players in some of the club's most succesful moment - most recent example is the 2016/17 away kit worn during the 2-0 victory in Malaga that secured the La Liga title.

At Unisport HQ we are torn between the two shirts. We both love the sky blue details on the home kit and how clean the away kit is. We simply can't decide.

If you're able to decide, or if you want both just like us, you can pre-order the Real Madrid 2017/18 home and away shirts here.
