Earlier today, Nike presented the brand's awesome first ever Tottenham kits. But Nike hasn’t finished taking over London and the Premier League... Let’s introduce the new Chelsea kits for 2017/18 made by Nike for the first time ever. And the Swoosh has some beautiful in store for all Chelsea fans!

adidas has produced the Chelsea shirts since 2006, but after 11 years it’s time for a change at the Stamford Bridge. Nike enters to stir things up, and the American giant has made some pretty dope shirts for the Blues this coming season, in which Eden Hazard and co. will try to defend their Premier League title and get European success as well. This Chelsea deal is certainly a big step up in Nike’s EPL game. Having gone from only sponsoring Manchester City in the English top flight to adding both Tottenham and Chelsea, Nike is now a dominating brand in England, and especially in London.

Continued below.

Like the Tottenham 17/18 shirts, the Nike Chelsea home shirt is based on the 2017 edition of the Vapor Aeroswift template. A very clean design, the Chelsea 17/18 home kit features very little white applications and is almost entirely blue. Nike uses a darker shade of blue than what adidas used in recent years. The new Nike Chelsea kit boasts knit details on the front, sleeves and back, while a white stripe is revealed on the side of the shirt as well as under the arms, when the material is stretched. Even thinner dark blue stripes run around the back neck of the kit, and 'Chelsea FC' is written on the back, completing the look.

The Chelsea away shirt follows the same design as the home kit, as it’s also based on the Vapor template. The kit is white/bright silver with blue details, such as a thin blue stripe running down either side and two more that cover the back neck. A great beginning to a, hopefully, long partnership between Nike and Chelsea FC!
