We have for the last two weeks, slowly been seeing some professional players jumping the gun with the adidas ‘Turbocharge Pack’ colourways in training, with big stars like Elneny and Marcelo training in the ACE and X version respectably. That is why some of you sharp bootspotters out there, who like us have picked up on this, may have already guessed that this freshly introduced ACE 17+ PureControl is only the beginning. This vibrant, early release is a part of a complete collection overhaul that will take over on-pitch player support from the ‘Blue Blast’ Pack.
To say that the laceless adidas PureControl concept has changed the game since its introduction in January 2016, would be the understatement of the year. Not only do they present players with a completely unique fit and distraction-less experience, they also raised the bar for what it takes to “wow” football boot enthusiasts considerably. Especially since they were updated in December 2016, they have firmly cemented their place as the flagship boot silo for adidas. In mine, and most other people's mind, they are now the first thing that springs to mind when you think “adidas Football”. It is therefore only fair that they get to lead the ‘Turbocharge’ charge, and get an exclusive early launch today.
Joining the adult version of the adidas ACE 17+ PureControl Turbocharge is a kids version of the football boots. adidas have really been stepping up their commitment to creating pro-standard football boots in kids sizes and they now do it for all their boots. That is why you will be able to get EXACTLY the same boot, as the one you see worn by Mesut Özil, Ivan Rakitic and Dele Alli every week, even if you use smaller sizes.
