The new Liverpool 2019/20 home shirt is all about the Liverpool DNA, as New Balance is ready to celebrate 100 years of one on the Reds’ most successful managers – Bob Paisley.
You might think ‘but how Is Bob Paisley connected to the shirt'. Well it’s pretty simple. At the time when Paisley was managing Liverpool, the Reds wore an iconic pinstriped home shirt back in the 1982/83 season, which also was the first time that the Reds had stripes on their kit and a season where Liverpool lifted the Premier League trophy. New Balance has taken a lot of different design elements into consideration when designing the new Liverpool 2019/20 home shirt, as it features Paisley’s signature on the inside of the neck.
