Unisport is one of Europe’s leading retailers of football boots, football shirts and football gear. Throughout our history, we have had the privilege of meeting some of the world’s best football players.

As a retailer, it is always wonderful, not to mention crucial, to receive praise - especially from happy customers and passionate amateur footballers. It just makes our day. Our trophy cabinet also boasts quite a few e-commerce awards, which definitely isn’t too bad either. But when you get approval from some of the greatest players to ever walk this planet, you can’t help but get a little extra proud of your achievements.

Through more than 25 years of hard work, dedication and endless affection for football, boots and shirts, Unisport has established both a premium label as well as premium relations to world-renowned sportswear brands and professional football players alike. We are very proud to get the superstar-stamp. Truly an honour.

World-class players and absolute legends

Because of the strong relations, Unisport has been able to gain access to interviews with international superstars like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappé along with pure legends of the game such as Ronaldinho, Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham. The interviews are hosted by Unisports own WebTV ‘superstars’, JayMike, Joltter and PWG, and available to enjoy at our YouTube channel. It is safe to say that we have had some memorable interviews along the way - anything from hilarious anecdotes to personal insights into the life and mentality of world-class players.

Did you know for an example that Ronaldo prefers selfies over autographs and Bugatti over Lamborghini?

Or that Messi has kept almost every pair of football boots he has used throughout his career? Especially the pair of adidas F50’s that flew off during his header against Manchester United in the UCL-final 2009 - followed by an iconic goal celebration of course.

One could argue that disciplined tactics and playing roles are the current trend in modern day football. French superstar and Mercurial-man, Kylian Mbappé, started honing his creative skills as a street footballer and he emphasizes the importance of creative players today - especially those who play for pleasure:

Ronaldinho, everybody's favourite Brazilian magician and Nike Tiempo ambassador, had football pleasure written all over him, which is why he inspired so many people with his playing style. He also just wants to be remembered for one thing only - how he was the happiest man in the world playing football:

Two massive icons from the same era, Zidane and Beckham, got to roast Joltter in this epic interview, where the two legends deem him unworthy as the owner of a pair of special edition Predators:

Learn from the best

Our interviews are not only based on Q&As - we got to have some action as well! A great deal of the interviews revolve around the best tips and tricks from the superstars on how to elevate your football skills. This goes for offensive and defensive techniques alike.

Belgian winger, Eden Hazard, explains how and when to use fancy skills in this interview:

Liverpool-star and current African Footballer of the Year, Sadio Mane, shows his two favourite dribbles (a stepover variation and a useful body feint):

Former Real Madrid, and now Tottenham-welshman, Gareth Bale, shares his insights on the importance of speed in modern football:

He also gives tips on shooting technique and how to produce a tricky knuckleball:

Bayern-players, David Alaba and Manuel Neuer, focus on how to defend properly and how to save a penalty, respectively:

Elite mentality is a major part of being a professional football player, which is why we also get a lot of valuable insights from the superstars about keeping the right state of mind. Karim Benzema shares his thoughts on this matter in a casual chat on the crowd stands of the Santiago Bernabéu:

Liverpool-centre back, Virgil van Dijk, opens up on how to deal with performance pressure and how to tackle nervousness during an important match:

Inter no. 9, Romelu Lukaku, gives his inspirational advice to upcoming talents and next gen players on what it takes to make it in professional football:

This is but a small selection of all our interviews and we produce a lot of different content to enjoy on WebTV. Unisport-subscribers have the opportunity to explore anything from updates on fresh product launches and unboxings, boot deliveries and football skill tutorials as well as new meetings with the biggest superstars in world football.
