Inter is now ready for the new 2019/20 season, as Nike introduces the brand new Inter 2019/20 Home Shirt. The new Home Shirt is a reinterpretation of the classical striped shirt, which gives it an eye-catching look.
Nike combines the famous blue and black colours with an untraditional twist on the stripes on the new Inter Home Shirt. Following their 20-year celebration between Nike and Inter partnership – which gave us a cool looking Anniversary Home Shirt, Nike wanted to make something that was both fresh, modern and disruptive at the same time.
Nike went back in time in order to make something fresh for the new Inter Home Shirt. They’ve taken inspiration from the Inter’s Away Shirt from 1989 and the introduction of the crest from 1979. The new 2019/20 Home Shirt comes with the classical blue and black look, which is broken by a band of diagonal stripes on the chest – like seen on their Away Shirt from 1989.

Nike is also incorporated a white colour on the details, which frames the Inter Home Shirt, while also being a connection to the famous logo from 1979. The white colour can be spotted on the collars and the iconic ‘Pirelli’ logo. Lastly, Nike has added a cross in the neck with the text Internazionale, which is a modern illustration of the Milano city crest – often displayed as a red cross on white background on previous Inter Shirts.
