In the wake of their recent victory in the Champions League final, this Friday Liverpool is ready to introduce a new away kit inspired by the iconic street signs surrounding Anfield and the legendary Bob Paisley, who dedicated nearly fifty years as a footballer and manager with Liverpool.
Aside from their last UCL triumph, Liverpool is surely known as a winning club with a wide range of both national and international trophies in their backyard. In light of this, the collaboration between New Balance and Liverpool is all about emphasizing the Club’s splendid history and the design philosophy of New Balance. In fact, the collar construction on their new away kit is inspired by a memorable English victory in Rome, more specifically the Club’s victorious night at the 1977 European Cup finale with Paisley in charge, as the inside of the neck contains his signature meant to commemorate his spirit.

However, there is a reason why this particular shirt is a mixture of innovation and performance as well; the shirt entails a bonded chest seam making it utterly comfortable to wear while the overall fitness of the shirt is integrated with a ventilation zone, a high-end technology providing it with breathability and airflow.
To complete the kit, the color of the shorts is navy while the socks – just as the shirt – are white, although complimented with a lower navy section and team red trim to provide an overall balance and sameness throughout the team.
Never has the abbreviation YNWA (You’ll Never Walk Alone) made more sense than now, as the strip is intended to celebrate the legendary spirit that unites Liverpool fans across the world, and Sadio Mané certainly can’t wait to share his excitement with the fans and The Reds.
