The new Tiempo | Nike launches the 'Focus' |

It’s been two years since we last saw an update on the Tiempo. In the modern world of football boots, that’s a VERY long time. And it actually feels like a lifetime ago. But the Tiempo 8 which launched in 2019 has been a very popular and solid boot. So why should you change it? Well, the Tiempo 9 might be the answer!

The Tiempo is the oldest Nike silo and the story behind it is still the same. It’s about comfort and performance at the same time. And now Nike have added some extra spice to it - it’s the lightest Tiempo ever!

Nike are really spoiling us. Not only are they launching a new boot. It’s a VERY limited edition to kick off the new era of the Tiempo. It’s called ‘Focus’!

The upper on the Tiempo 9 has a premium leather upper filled with soft foam pods in the key areas where your foot will connect with the ball. It’s made to enhance your dribbling, passing and shooting. It reminds us a bit of the iconic CTR360 (which is only a good thing!).

As mentioned before, the Tiempo is the lightest ever - 207 grams. This weight drop comes mainly from the new soleplate. It’s stronger and more responsive than before. It will definitely help you to be quicker in your decisions on pitch.

But don’t be fooled. Comfort is still prioritized on Tiempo 9. The insole is cushioned and the new mesh tongue will provide you with exceptional comfort during all 90 minutes of the game.

Most people might think that the Tiempo is made for defenders only. But this time we will see attacking and fast players like Phil Foden and Joshua Kimmich wearing it as well. And so should you!
