PUMA First Mile
The story behind
PUMA has created a program called ‘First Mile’ for sustainability and responsibility. The people-focused network strengthens micro-economies in Haiti, Honduras, and Taiwan by collecting plastic bottles to create sustainable jobs and reduce environmental waste. Each bottle is sorted, cleaned, shredded, and turned into yarn. After that it is knitted or woven into fabric to ultimately become apparel, footwear, and accessories products.Empowered people. Cleaner planet
Future Z & Ultra First Mile
The new Future Z and Ultra from First Mile pack is something new and innovative. The boots are made with 21% to 42% recycled materials in the upper, including yarn that is made from post-consumer plastic collected by local communities in Taiwan. The materials that have created a football boot that play a little faster than normal and are also lighter.
The PUMA Future Z boots have a stylish look, with navy, white, gold and black colours. The heel area is navy and goes into a white front with golden logos. The soleplate is black. The PUMA Ultra boots have the same colours, but in a little different design. The main colour is navy, whereas the heel has a golden area. The logos are white and the soleplate is black.
