Recap of the Grand Paris Girls Cup

On the sidelines of the 2023 Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, Unisport and Nike offered to the players from Greater Paris an unprecedented women football tournament.
What is the Grand Paris Girls Cup?
It's a 100% women's football tournament organized by Unisport and Nike, which celebrates the excellent level of players from Greater Paris as well as the biggest tournament of the year. The best 5-a-side football teams from Greater Paris battled together in a first qualifying phase in eight departments of Greater Paris (75, 77, 78, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95), where only the best team from each department was able to get his ticket for the Grand Final in an iconic place of French football.
Equipment handed over at the Unisport Paris store
The first stage of the tournament took place in our Unisport Paris Store, where the players were invited to pick up their outfits. Six exclusive football jersey designs have been created for the occasion. See what happened hereResults of the 8 qualifying days
In total, 336 players met around 104 qualifying matches, so we've seen tons of skills, goals and celebrations. The 8 qualified teams impressed: Brazil (75), NTMA (77), CO Squad (78), Black Panthers (91), Los Chicanos (92), BAN (93), CNDQ (94), Zoozer FC (95) . Kudos to them!
The Grand Finale
The eight winning teams met for the grand final of the tournament in the Temple of French Football, which is the training center of the national team. 42 players were able to live an exceptional experience during two days and sleep at the Castle just like Les Bleues. But which team ultimately lifted the Grand Paris Girls Cup trophy? Well, it's the Black Panthers team (91) is the big winner of our tournament! These seven players are crowned best team of Greater Paris, what a show! Congratulations to them.
Nike Phantom Luna Review
Throughout the tournament, we have made the latest innovation in football boots available to all players: Nike Phantom Luna. Luna is the latest collection from Nike, a boot designed for women but suitable for all players.
The Unisport team
Because at Unisport we always think about our most loyal members, we have included a team made up of 6 Unisport FC members (Kaïna, Karen, Julie, Emma, Maria and Imène) who participated in the qualifications in Paris (75). Despite their excellent performance with five wins out of six games played, they did not qualify for the grand final.
