Air Max 1 Ultra Moire is made with a minimalistic upper, which is built up around a soft synthetic suede material. The suede material is laser perforated, which gives an extremely breathable upper. The textured lines on the upper also lead the mind back to the original Air Max 1.
The updated low-profile design gives the iconic sneaker a versatile look and means it can be used for several occasions.
The shoe is still made with a full-length sole, with an injected Air-unit in the heel. The foam material that normally works as a mid-sole has also been updated, so it is as strong as at all possible, which means it can also be used on the outsole. This innovation reduces the weight drastically and results in the lightest Air Max ever. Furthermore the Air Max 1 Ultra Moire is made with a soft heel counter, which gives a comfortable and shock-absorbing fit.
The deep flex-grooves reduce the shoes weight even more, while also letting your foot move more naturally, which makes this the most flexible Air Max 1 to date.
As an extra detail the Nike Swoosh and shoes edge are made with a reflective finish, which makes the shoe extra visible in situations where light is at a premium.
