The collection is inspired by Nordic design and french football culture. The name #rabona, is a reference to a fabulous and technically demanding kick. The player needs to have slightly bend legs to be able to carry out the trick. The player will have to move his kicking leg behind his supportive leg, to be able to actually hit the ball - also the reason why the trick is considered being extremely challenging. Often used to completely fool the opponent or when simply wanting to showcase one's level of expertise. The first reported use of the rabona, was way back in 1948 during a match between Estudiantes and Rosario Central from Argentina. Here the argentinian player Ricardo Infante from Estudiantes performed the rabona. The local football magazine El Grafico complimented him with a front cover, featuring him dressed as a schoolboy next to the text “infante rabona”. Translated from Spanish, rabona means “skipping school” - from this the trick was named rabona. Since then great players like Diego Maradona, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Neymar Jr. and Zlatan Ibrahimovic has successfully used the rabona during a match.
The training pants is made from a soft and comfortable blend, for a superior comfort. With an adjustable waist, so you can adjust the fit of the trousers to your personal preference. Side and back pockets with zip, for easy carrying personal belongings. Special stitches around the knees, to provide increased levels of mobility - so you can carry out any trick you’d like. The classic design is broken by the contrasting colors of the zip, as well as by the #Unisportlife on the front of the left leg. All for that true modern and sporty look.
