Shine Through makes the Superfly more eksplosive than ever before

2014 was the year, where Nike presented a new attacking masterpiece to the world, Mercurial Superfly. During the World Cup it was presented in a warm-flooded Hyper Punch colourway and since then we have seen it in a Blackout, Laser Orange, Neon-green and last but not least Cristiano Ronaldo’s own glitter CR7 version.

And while summer equals blackouts in Nike’s optics, it appears that winter and Christmas is all about predominantly white boots. This year Nike kick-off December with a number of white football boots, spiced with the year’s most popular colours. And for the Mercurial this means revisiting the Hyper Punch, Laser Orange colours.

This explosive attacking boot, which was introduced to the world with the innovative Dynamic Fit Collar, as well as a Flyknit upper and Carbon Fibre sole, has taken the world by storm and unequivocally takes a spot as one this year’s most popular boots. And with this Shine Through collection, the Mercurial Superfly isn’t exactly going to get any less popular.

Throughout the winter Nike’s biggest stars will shine through in the white design – just like they did last Christmas, when Nike introduced the Reflective Pack. Shine Through is, like the name implies, designed to give players that extra edge on the pitch. Design has in previous years shown it plays a central role for footballers confidence and motivation, when they need to go out and show everyone their worth.
