adidas Originals is back with the National Team Away Kits 2026. From Herzogenaurach to the world’s biggest pitches, adidas is unveiling the new away kits for all federations they sponsor. Each shirt is unique, proudly carrying the adidas Trefoil, and built for the national teams to wear during qualifiers, friendlies, and the tournament itself.

The Trefoil returns to the biggest stage for the first time in 36 years, celebrating the 90s aesthetic it last appeared in. Clean colourways, nation-inspired details, and performance-focused design make each kit both functional and meaningful. Jacquard fabrics, CLIMACOOL+ technology, and herringbone-stitched 3-stripes ensure breathability, comfort, and freedom of movement in even the toughest conditions.

Every jersey tells a story. From landscapes to art, architecture, and historic references, each design blends heritage with modern performance, honoring both the players who wear them and the fans who support them.

Germany

Germany’s away kit features a rhythmic all-over pattern of interlocking diagonal chevrons in navy, inspired by the home kit. Hints of blue from different eras of DFB history, from 1950s quarter zips to 90s training wear, bring depth and continuity. A subtle flag label at the hem marks adidas’ long-standing partnership with the DFB.

Spain

Spain’s away shirt draws on the nation’s rich literary heritage. An off-white base is decorated with a subtle pyrite-colored pattern reminiscent of classic manuscripts, while gold and burgundy details accent the sleeves and neckline. “ESPAÑA” on the back of the neck highlights the cultural pride behind the design.

Argentina

Argentina’s away kit celebrates artistic heritage with swirling blue graphics on a black base, accented with hints of white. Stylized floral motifs and climbing plants create movement and energy, while a bespoke “Argentina” emblem sits above the Sol de Mayo sun symbol at the back of the neck.

Italy

Italy’s away kit draws from traditional tailoring and iconic team jackets worn during celebratory moments. A light blue and white all-over pattern reflects classic weaves, while marine blue and gold accents complete the look. A monogram-style “italia” at the back of the neck adds a touch of identity and elegance.

Mexico

Mexico’s away jersey draws inspiration from the country’s deep cultural history and architecture. The design features an all-over grey graphic pattern on a white base, influenced by traditional “Grecas” patterns often seen in Mexican architecture and artwork. These stepped geometric shapes reference the iconic stair-like structures found on historic buildings across the country.

At the back of the neck, the phrase “SOMOS MÉXICO” — meaning “We Are Mexico” — is inscribed, symbolising the unity, pride, and passion that define the Mexican spirit as the nation prepares to host the biggest tournament for the third time.

Japan

Japan’s away kit tells a story of unity and national identity through colour. Inspired by the theme “Colours Beyond the Horizon”, the shirt features a striking stripe graphic made up of twelve different colours representing the connection between players, fans, and the nation.

Set against an off-white base, eleven fading vertical stripes run down the shirt in a rain-like pattern, symbolising the eleven players on the pitch. A twelfth bold central stripe carries the red of the Japanese sun, representing the heart of the team — its supporters.

The Japanese flag is proudly placed at the back of the neck as a mark of national pride and collective identity.

Hungary & Colombia

Hungary’s away kit celebrates HFF’s 125th anniversary with a white base, deep red shoulder and bicep detailing, and a bespoke “125” tag at the back of the neck.
Colombia’s shirt reflects the nation’s biodiversity, blending Pacific and Caribbean blues with vertical lines, accented by bold yellow trim and “COLOMBIA” across the back of the neck.

Sweden & Belgium

Sweden’s away shirt combines three tones of blue to create a bold all-over pattern inspired by 70s design. Modern typography at the back of the neck reads “Sverige,” merging retro aesthetics with contemporary style for today’s fans.

Belgium’s away shirt pays homage to the country’s surrealist art heritage. Soft blues, pinks, and whites form a playful pattern with layered shapes and subtle references to football culture. At the back of the neck, a nod to René Magritte’s famous artwork reads: ‘Ceci n'est pas un maillot’ — “This is not a jersey.”

Chile & Ukraine

Chile’s shirt takes inspiration from the flowering desert of the Atacama, featuring pink flowers on an off-white base with subtle brown details, finished with a black crest on the back of the neck.
Ukraine’s kit blends traditional cultural elements with contemporary style, featuring a striking pattern in mystery ink on a blue base. “Ykpaïha” in vibrant yellow is printed on the back of the neck.

Algeria, Peru & Greece

Algeria’s away shirt takes cues from deserts and oases, with green stripes on deep green and “ALGERIA” in Arabic at the back of the neck.

Peru’s kit celebrates vibrant Chicha culture with fluorescent accents in Magenta, Solar Yellow, and Solar Orange on a black base, finished with a “Peru” tag on the back of the neck.

Greece’s away shirt is deep blue with vertical stripes inspired by 80s kits and Greek architectural pylons. The back of the neck reads “1926,” marking the federation’s centenary.

Costa Rica & Saudi Arabia

Costa Rica’s shirt uses blue and fuchsia tones inspired by toucans and rainforest foliage, with “Pura Vida” etched at the back of the neck.
Saudi Arabia’s away kit features a pearlescent white base with a woven pattern, royal gold detailing, deep green neckline, and a palm tree and crossed swords emblem at the back.

Venezuela & South Africa

Venezuela’s kit features a white base with yellow, red, and blue accents, gold trim on the cuffs, and “LA VINOTINTO” at the back of the neck.
South Africa’s away shirt features the nation’s iconic green and gold, with white and gold accents on sleeves and collar, symbolizing heritage and sporting pride.

The 2026 Away Kits celebrate heritage, culture, and performance, blending history with modern innovation to bring out the best in athletes while honoring the fans and communities who support them.
