Black Deals Training Wear

2837 Products
Black Deals lands at the start of winter training. Base layers, drill tops, tracksuits and training shorts are reduced here, and several thin layers keep you warmer between drills than one heavy jacket.Read more

Layering for cold sessions

  1. A long-sleeved base layer next to the skin, to move sweat away.
  2. A drill top or quarter-zip over it.
  3. A training jacket or rain jacket for the warm-up, off once the drills start.
  4. Training trousers or tights, plus a snood and gloves on freezing days.

One thick jacket is too warm once you start moving and too thin when you stand still during instructions.

What do the fabric names mean?

Nike calls its sweat-wicking fabric Dri-FIT. adidas uses AEROREADY. Puma uses dryCELL. The idea is the same: pull moisture off the skin so the garment dries faster.

Matching a team's training kit

Team lines such as adidas Tiro and Nike Academy are updated regularly and keep a similar look between versions. They're not identical. If you need to match your team's kit, check the model year in the product name, for example Tiro 24 or Tiro 25.
