The new Arsenal shirt is inspired by history and will definitely create some attention.

In the summer of 2006, Arsenal moved away from their homeground through the previous 93 years - Highbury. The Gunners moved on to the Emirates Stadium which has been the home of Arsenal since.

But even though Arsenal fans aren’t traveling to Highbury anymore, it’s still important to pay homage and respect the iconic stadium which is such a big part of the club’s history.

adidas have used inspiration from the East Stand of Highbury and the hallway inside the stadium. It has a very recognizable marble floor in an Art Deco style. The new home kit celebrates this hallway and the history of Highbury.

We see a very sharp pattern in different tones of dark red on the base of the shirt. And then we, of course, have the classic white sleeves which is a must on an Arsenal shirt. The neck is round with a white line and the cuffs on the sleeves has thin lines to finish of the sleeves.

This shirt is born from the culture of the club. And the aim is to unite generations of fans with a fusion of authenticity and progression. We are looking forward to see this shirt on pitch next season!
