It’s been a while since we last saw a completely new boot releasing from Nike. It was back in January 2019 when the Phantom VNM arrived. Since then we’ve seen a lot of amazing colourways and collections from Nike. And now it’s time for another one - the Nike Phanom GT.
This means that we have to say goodbye to both the Venom and the Phantom VSN. The only Phantom now will be the GT. And we will not only get one but TWO colourways for this launch. Let’s take a look at the pictures below and talk about the boots afterwards.

The Phantom GT is all about showing your skills on pitch. And to do that you need the best technologies.
The first one is the Generate Texture - the key technology in the Phantom GT. Along with the FlyKnit upper it gives you a barefoot feeling while still making sure that you have a grip on the ball. The texture is made by advanced software and is based on studies of how much power you use while dribbling, shooting and passing.
Hyperquick soleplate is made to help you in small areas and tights spaces so you can dribble and turn on the spot - and it will give you an explosive acceleration while running away from your opponents.
A thin one-piece Flyknit upper will give you a personal, snug fit which goes well with even wide feet and will provide a smooth transition from sock to boot.
The design of the boots is quite something. We see three Swooshes on the upper. One on each side of the heel and then a big on the toe box - giving us some OG Hypervenom vibes. The Phantom GT branding is written within a line a goes along the soleplates. And then we have the spectacular Hyperquick soleplate made with a stripe design.
Phantom GT is expected to be worn by players like Neymar, Kevin De Bruyne and Alex Morgan. It’s going to be crazy to watch these boots on pitch soon!
