The battle for control | Nike vs. adidas | Magista vs. PureControl

Written by Mathias Boughey-Svendsen

The two most talked about control boots on the market are without doubt the Nike Magista Obra 2 and adidas’ ACE 17+ PureControl. Now JayMike has compared the two and listed their pros and cons.

Picking a football boot can be quite a challenge, especially if you haven’t found the one boot silo that you could stick with forever. If this is something you can relate to, then watching this video might be a good idea. JayMike has taken a look at two of the most popular football boots in the world and put them up against each other. He has done this to give a better overview of the control boot concept and make it easier for you to choose.

You can find our selection of football boots right here.

Before you watch the video let it just be said - personally I prefer the Nike Magista Obra. Whether that is because I have fairly wide feet I don’t know, but JayMike in any case says he prefers the adidas ACE 17+ PureControl. Then again, he does have feet that could fit in Cinderella’s slippers.

Watch the video at the top of this blog and hear his assessment of the two boots. And see a general overview of the two boots below:
