Following up strongly on the Furon Hydra boot from March, New Balance continue their Limited Edition concept of featuring a reactive upper that changes colour. Innovation does per definition requires something new and that’s why New Balance have taken a different approach on the Visaro 2.0 Force, which instead of reacting to water, reacts to applied pressure.

This means that when the New Balance Visaro 2.0 Force makes contact with the ball and you control play, the hexagon design will change from the calm and collected Dark Denim colour to a vivacious Ozone Blue. The visuals of football boots have evolved and New Balance are once again setting the standard for how wild designers can go.

Although it may be easy to get distracted by the design, the New Balance Visaro 2.0 is from a technological standpoint still one of the strongest control boots in the world and very much competing with the other control heavyweights, such as the Magista, ACE and ClutchFit. The upper is fully engineered to give you a superior touch on the ball, which is obviously the most important aspect of any boot made to help you run the game. The Hexaprene control zones and strike zones are incorporated into the upper, so you get either a soft and dampened touch when you control the ball, or a very clean strike on the ball, when passing or going for goal.

New Balance continue to keep up the pressure on the other brands. Spearheaded by their two new Limited Edition colour-changing boots, they have definitely proven how experimenting in the design studio can yield some seriously good-looking boots.
