We all dreamed of seeing the Predator return to the pitch and that dream came true with the launch last week. Now adidas do one better and also introduce their most legendary silo to the streets in premium fashion.

adidas today introduce a street-wise and Tango'd up take on their Predator 18+, which introduces a unique Boost midsole that has been developed especially for this shoe. They have already previously shown off an 18.1 version with laces and Boost, but we always had a feeling we would see a more limited and completely laceless option.

The adidas Predator Tango 18+ Boost sneaker features a sleek design that combines a black primeknit upper with a flashy heel counter, which reads “PREDATOR” in the silos iconic font. Furthermore, when you pull the sneaker onto your foot the Primeknit stretches to shape itself and at the same reveals a fierce red colour detailing. All this is fitted on a pristine Boost midsole, which despite giving you that signature bounce still looks super sharp on foot.

With the introduction of the Predator, Savage Control has taken over from PureControl and the ACE silo will be shut down. When it comes to adidas’ Stadium to Street initiative, where the most popular boot silhouettes are fused with an UltraBoost midsole, no version has been more popular than the ACE 16+ UltraBoost. It will both be interesting to see if this can reach the same heights and whether we have seen the last of the A 16+ UB.

You can get your hands on the adidas Predator Tango 18+ Boost sneaker right here. It is part of the Limited Collection, so don’t expect them to stay for long.
