The evoPOWER 2.2 is a boot much like the top model, but at a cheaper price. You will be spending less, but you still get many of the advantages from the evoPOWER 1.2. The boot is made with an upper of supple synthetic, which has a low water intake and good durability. Furthermore the material quickly adapts to your foot, so you get incredibly close ball contact. Underneath the synthetic material you find, like on the evoPOWER 1.2, Accufoam. The small pillows give both increased protection, but also a larger and cleaner strike surface, so you have improved precision. Furthermore the upper is coated with GripTex, which is a texture that increases your grip on the ball, especially when playing on a rain-drenched pitch. The evoPOWER 2.2 is equipped with the same outsole, as its older brother. This means you also get Puma’s Gradual Stability Frame, which gives great flex and stability. This spine-like construction under the mid foot helps give you the flex you need, when you strike the ball with maximal power It is made with a mixture of oblong and conical studs, so you get both powerful acceleration and good maneuverability. With FG studs for firm ground surfaces such as grass.
