Puma evoSPEED 1.4 is Puma’s new speed flagship and once again the boot lives up to the high expectations we have for the German brands speed boot. With an upper of soft leather the PUMA evoSPEED 1.4 leather is the perfect boot for the player who wants both classic leather comfort and a speed boots lightweight feel. • Thin leather upper, weight of 220 grams • For the player who wants speed and ball control • Worn by Marco Verratti and Santi Cazorla High levels of comfort and low weight The boot is made with an upper of Premium leather, which ensures the highest possible levels of comfort and a touch on the ball, which only a leather boot could provide. Furthermore there is extra padding at the forefoot, which helps up the comfort even further. In addition the boot is equipped with an external heel counter, which makes sure you get increased comfort and stability. The heel counter also makes sure you are always locked in the boot, so you get the perfect fit. The right mix between explosiveness and manoeuvrability The outsole is constructed from a light PEBAX material, which gives good flexibility. Furthermore PUMA have equipped the sole with their Speedtrack torsionbar, which we know from PUMA’s sprinting shoes. The Speedtrack technology helps give the right balance between stability in the mid foot and flexibility in the front foot. The perfect balance is also something you get with the stud-configuration, which is made with a mixture of conical and bladed studs. The conical studs make sure you can move quickly, even in the tightest of areas, while the other studs make sure you get an aggressive grip of the pitch, so you can quickly accelerate and reach your top speed fast.
