This very limited edition of the PUMA King pays tribute to the Argentinian César Luis Menotti, also known as El Flaco. César Luis Menotti was a PUMA player throughout his successful career as a player. As a coach, he has been coaching big clubs like FC Barcelona and Athletico Madrid. Here he established him self as representing a unique style of attacking football and the promoter of the zonal defence. As the national coach of Argentina, he became the first ever to guide Argentina to winning a World Cup in 1978. Back in 1978 Puma launched the original King Menotti Star to celebrate that win. It became the first ever boot to be launched in a gold colour. Now PUMA release a remake of the original King Menotto Star, bringing one of their most profiled and iconic boots back to centre stage.
