Puma King II SL is a modern interpretation of a true classic. SL stands for superlight and that is exactly what this boot is, as PUMA have managed to shave an incredible 75 grams off the King II’s usual weight. • A modern interpretation of a classic • Kangaroo leather upper • Weighs just 180 gram Classic comfort A Puma King is not a Puma King without a solid leather upper and the upper on the King II SL is of course made from a soft and supple kangaroo leather, which gives exceptional comfort and an almost glove-like fit. To keep the weight at an absolute minimum, the leather has been made as thin as possible, so you get a precise and soft touch on the ball. Furthermore the tongue is perforated, which not only saves weight, but most importantly gives better breathability. A tight fit To give you a tight fit the boot is made with PUMA’s well known EverFit lace system. This special lace system makes sure you can really tighten the boots around the midfoot, without compromising on comfort. Furthermore the boot has an external heel counter, which gives better protection and increased lockdown effect. outsole built for speed and stability As it was the case with the previous Puma King SL models, the Puma King II SL is made with Puma’s AptoLast. This sole gives you a tight and comfortable fit that reduces the gap between the boot and foot. The outsole itself is made from a flexible nylon, which is however constructed in a way that you get the perfect combination between flexibility and stability. In Addition the sole on the King II SL is equipped with a torsion bar, which is a technology that comes from Puma’s sprinting shoes. This gives greatly improved stability, while also making the sole more responsive. Weight: 180 gram. This is a boot with FG buds to natural grass courts.
