The official match ball from adidas, that the european nations will be using during the knockout stage - at the EURO 2016 in France. The ball has been given the name Fracas, that translated from french, means “to create a noisy, messy disturbance”. Being a very suiting for the knockout stage, where anything is possible! The Fracas ball is built around a classic 6-panel design, as we also saw it with the 2016 Euro Qualifier match balls and the Brazuca football from the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The surface of the ball is thermally bonded and therefore has no seams. This treatment of the surface gives a more stable swerve, a more predictable trajectory and less water uptake. A micro textured surface also allows for better ball control. In addition, the football is made of quality materials inside out, as well as the bladder, to give you the optimal performance on the pitch. The football has been given a striking and unique design, that is inspired by France and EURO 2016. On the ball you can see the text “Fracas” as well as EURO 2016 - being an integrated part of the graphical design. Also the colors and the graphics that looks a bit twisted, represents the emotions involved in knockout stages. The graphics looks to be crumbling at various places, symbolizing the the teams that gets knocked out. Leaving only the EURO trophy; the Henri Delauney cup, that the final winner can put their hands on. Besides being aesthetically nice, the graphics adds to the visibility of the ball. The football is FIFA Quality Pro approved, meaning it is of the highest standard - passing all FIFA inspections.
