Select Revolution Lightweight Woven is as the name insinuates a revolution in training jackets. Nike sat down and analysed the way footballers train every day and through their analyses, as well as feedback from top athletes, they have made the ultimate training jacket.
The jacket is made with a semi-transparent Jaquard fabric, which gives the jacket a modern and aesthetic look.
Furthermore the jacket is made with Dri-FIT, so your body can breathe, as well as the material making sure you can get rid of excess sweat. To increase the jackets breathability the elbows are perforated, so you don't get overheated.
It has Powermesh on the sleeves and around the bottom rib-edge, which helps keep the jacket in place. The application of the Powermesh also helps keep the weight at an absolute minimum.
Nike have made sure that the jackets fit is top of the agenda. The fit has been made tighter and more athletic, and now you get 360 degree movability, so the jacket doesn't feel tight, regardless of how you move when training.
One of the biggest innovations is around the shoulder, which is made with Nike's brand new Hyper-adapt technology. This technology means that the shoulder area of the jacket is in essence completely separate from the rest of the jacket, as the material runs all the way up to the top of the neck. There has therefore been used a minimal amount of stitches, which gives greater freedom for the shoulders.
Furthermore the jacket is made with a specially designed collar, which adapts to how you move your upper body and head when training.
The Select Revolution Lightweight Woven jacket is made in a two-part design. The semi-transparent material can be found all over the jacket, but around the jackets main area there has been added a contrast coloured material, which gives an eye-catching and modern.
It has ribbed-edges at the wrist and waist, which ensures a tight and adaptable fit, which keeps its shape, even after having been used several times. Furthermore the jacket is made with a full zip, as well as zippable side pockets.
