How a futsal ball is different

A futsal ball is smaller than a standard size 5 football but similar in weight, and it is built to bounce low. Select's futsal balls bounce 50-65 cm when dropped from 2 metres, which keeps the ball on the floor and makes quick passing and close control easier. Inside, a butyl bladder with polyester fibres on balls such as the Futsal Master helps keep the bounce reliable.

Match, training or junior?

For matches, FIFA Quality Pro is the top approval, and the Futsal Super TB carries it. Hand-stitched balls such as the Futsal Master and Mimas work for both matches and training. For training, the Futsal Attack is dual bonded, with the panels both stitched and glued, and has foam pads for extra softness. Young players can use Select's Futsal Talento, made in smaller sizes (49.5-51.5 cm, 52.5-54.5 cm and 57-59 cm) with a foam lining that makes it softer to kick.

Where to use it

Futsal balls are made for indoor courts and sports halls. Many players use them for indoor football in general. On grass or turf, a standard football is the better choice.
