When Brøndby IF's men and women start the new season, they will be wearing a new home kit designed by hummel as part of the club's 100th anniversary celebrations. The jersey takes us back to the mid-80s, which was an epochal time in the history of the national team and Brøndby IF. The club won its first championship and players like Kim Vilfort, Lars Olsen, John "Faxe" Jensen and coach Ebbe Skovdahl made their breakthrough at the club. As you can see in the pictures, there is no sponsor printed on the chest of the new jersey, as the club's new main sponsor, Danske Spil, has dispensed with the Oddset logo on the jersey to make it clear that gambling should be offered, marketed and played with caution. The new home jersey is inspired by the iconic national team jersey from the 1986 World Cup. The pinstripe design from back then is done in a toned down version with two shades of yellow, and the jersey has blue details on the collar and sleeves as well as a small mesh band on the shoulders with hummel's familiar angles The players' jerseys are made from hummel's functional and sweat-wicking 'BeeCool' material, which is lightweight and very flexible to wear. Made from 100 % polyester.
