The English national team, also know as The Three Lions, is with their Scottish neighbours, the two oldest national teams in the world. The team has never won the tournament before and their best placement was the third place back in 1968, with players such as Bobby Moore, Gordon Banks and Sir Bobby Charlton. They also played in the Semifinal back in 1996 with Tony Adams, Paul Gascoigne and top scorer of the tournament, Alan Shearer, on their team. Now the calendar says 2016 and this summer it is the Euro in France and here the English players and coach Hodgson can battle and conquer their first ever Euro trophy.
