The upper part of the BRILLANT SUPER TB is made of a specially developed synthetic leather, called 'Teijin Microfibre'. It still consists of 32 fields, divided into 12 pentagons and 20 hexagons, which have a light surface structure that minimizes air resistance. As something completely new, the ball has been thermally bonded. This means that the fields are glued together under the influence of heat, and the ball thus has no seams. Based on that, the ball absorbs less water and thus retains its original weight better when used in wet conditions.
The new upper construction, combined with a newly developed lining and the patented Zero Wing bladder, gives the ball a softer, lighter and more comfortable touch. The lining consists of a 4 mm thick and exclusive foam material, while the Zero Wing bladder is made of natural latex and ensures a constant balance in the ball, as a balance point is built into the opposite end of the air valve. The air valve is a so-called Double Lock valve, which is made of durable rubber, where the air must pass through two "locks" to get out. The ball may seem lighter, but the weight is the same as a traditional football.
The ball carries the FIFA QUALITY PRO mark, which indicates that the ball has passed FIFA's seven official tests, under the most demanding conditions. The tests check the ball's weight, circumference, roundness, bounce, water absorption, air loss, as well as shape and size retention. For this reason, you can be sure that this is a quality ball at a professional level. BRILLANT SUPER is also the official match ball in the 'Veikkausliiga', 'Allsvenskan', 'Eliteserien' and 'Alka Superliga'. There are respectively the best Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish leagues. In addition, it is also the official match ball when the Danish national team plays at home.
The soccer ball can be used on natural grass and artificial grass.
