The Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has produced some absolute magic and iconic football moments for a whole football generation all over the world. During his illustrious career, CR7 has produced an ongoing preposterous goal statistic, conquering both England, Spain and Italy.
It was Sir Alex Ferguson who in 2003 decided to bring an 18-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United, where he was given the legendary number 7. Here he quickly took the Premier League by storm with his array of outrageous dribbling skills. It was indeed a stunning sight, but few could foresee that the young dribbler would mature into the functional and direct player he is today.
In the 2008/9 season, Cristiano Ronaldo won his first 'Ballon d'Or' in front of a young Lionel Messi - the start of what should become a close race between the two arguably best players of all time. In the summer of 2009, the Portuguese forward joined mighty Real Madrid where he would develop into the terrifying goal-machine he is today. During his 9 seasons for 'Los Blancos' he scored an incredible 451 goals, breaking multiple club-records, and won a dozen of titles.
In 2018 Ronaldo signed a contract with Juventus, where he has since added to his prolific goal-scoring record. And as he remains physically and mentally strong as always, there is little showing that CR7 is slowing down - proving that age is of little relevance.
