There was quite some confusion towards the end of last year, when adidas launched their Red Limit collection. Quite quickly it was clear that the professional players had been given a modified version of the new ACE 17+ PureControl football boots that was not made available for sale anywhere. However, with the launch of this Chequered Black colourway most of this confusion has been cleared up.
The change of PureCut sock and Tech Fit collar is a very welcomed change if you ask JayMike, who sees the new sock-construction as a very much improved experience. It ups the stability and gives a better fit, which you can imagine means a lot in a laceless football boot.
